Rugby Rats Registration and Age Group Chart

 This season's registration requires two steps:

STEP 1

Mandatory USA Rugby registration is performed on-line at the USA Rugby portal, according to

the following:

While registering your children, please select the club: Key Rats Rugby (Florida, Youth and HS

Council)

If you or your son/daughter is a returning player, you should use the same user and password

you have used in previous seasons.

• The USAR fees are divided into two categories: Youth & High School players and Rookie Rugby players who are 6 years old and under.
• For Youth & High School players, the registration fee is $90.43, and there is an additional administrative charge of $3.57, making the total cost per player $94.00.
• For Rookie Rugby players (6 years old and under), the registration fee is $19.24, and the administrative charge is $0.76, for a total of $20.00 per player.
• In summary, Youth and High School players pay $94 each, while Rookie Rugby players pay $20 each.

STEP 2

Registration is available at the KBCC Front Desk during operating hours. The following documents are required along with payment to complete the registration process.

• KBCC Youth Program Registration Form 2025 (required)
• Code of Conduct Agreement for Players and Parents
• Parent's Photo ID (required unless already on file for 2025)
  • Acceptable forms of photo ID include a drivers license or passport
• Proof of Residency for KB Resident Rate (required unless already on file for 2025)
  • The following are acceptable as proof of residency:
    • Current utility bill (preferably an FPL bill)
    • Current vehicle registration certificate
    • Current real property tax bill or deed
    • Certificate or letter from the Internal Revenue Service
    • Leases are NOT accepted as proof of residency

For the Rugby Rats program, the registration fees depend on the player’s age group and whether they are residents or non-residents.

• For the U6 and U8 divisions, the fee for residents is $350, while non-residents pay $420.
• For the U10 to U12 divisions, residents pay $400, and non-residents pay $480. 
• For the U14 to U19 divisions, the fee for residents is $500, and non-residents pay $600.
  

U19: 1 Sep 2008 – 31 Aug 2010 (Max Age: 18) * Players who turn 19 but are still enrolled in 12th grade may be eligible to play (school enrollment verification required).

U16: 1 Sep 2010 – 31 Aug 2012 (Max Age: 16)

U14: 1 Sep 2012 – 31 Aug 2014 (Max Age: 14)

U12: 1 Sep 2014 – 31 Aug 2016 (Max Age: 12)

U10: 1 Sep 2016 – 31 Aug 2018 (Max Age: 10)

U8: 1 Sep 2018 – 31 Aug 2020 (Max Age: 8)

U6: 1 Sep 2020 and younger (Max Age: 6 y/o)

This season, we will introduce a new team uniform. Ordering details will be announced soon. All families will place their orders online, with uniforms shipped directly to your home. Each player must have the basic uniform set:- Rugby jersey- Rugby shorts- Rugby socks In addition, the online store will offer extra gear such as backpacks, polos, additional uniform pieces, and more Rugby Rats merchandise.
